From Markets to a Permanent Address

When we started Tz'ikin Cafe, we built our community one market at a time — from the Kentlands Farmers Market in Gaithersburg to Milk Lady Markets in Rockville to Casey Community Center and beyond. Every Saturday and weekday pop-up was a chance to share authentic Salvadoran and Guatemalan coffee with neighbors who quickly became regulars.

Now we are proud to announce that Art Place Fort Totten at 475 Ingraham St NE, Washington, DC 20011 is our permanent home. We are currently in our soft launch, working through the final details to make the experience exactly what our community deserves. Everything feels right here — the space, the neighborhood, and the people.

Open Every Day During Soft Launch

During our soft launch we are open every single day. That means you no longer have to wait for a Saturday market or a Thursday pop-up. Come in on your morning commute Monday through Friday starting at 7am, or enjoy a relaxed weekend coffee Saturday or Sunday from 9am.

We Still Do Markets

Having a permanent location does not mean leaving the markets behind. We still show up every Saturday at Kentlands Farmers Market in Gaithersburg, and on Wednesdays at Milk Lady Markets in Rockville and Thursdays at Casey Community Center in Gaithersburg. The permanent location is an addition — not a replacement.
